Degrees at the University of Sussex
Sussex degrees are designed so you can explore subjects in ways that interest you, as you develop your knowledge and understanding. Students on single honours programmes choose several courses from outside their discipline, while joint degrees and minor options allow you to study exciting combinations of different subjects.

Majors and minors
If you want to have a main area of study, but gain some understanding in another subject as well, the University of Sussex offer an exciting range of ‘minors’ alongside the main degree programme, e.g. Mathematics with Economics, Law with International Relations, Psychology with Sociology. This means you spend three-quarters of your time on the major subject and quarter on the minor subject.

Scholarships
The University of Sussex awards up to 40 Chancellor's International Scholarships of £2,500 available to new overseas fee paying students each year who are applying to study at Undergraduate and Postgraduate taught degree level.
