The University of East Anglia is an internationally-renowned university based in the cathedral city of Norwich. Over 15,000 students from more than 100 countries enjoy its architecturally distinguished campus. Facilities include one of the country's largest sports complexes, the iconic Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts and an extensive programme of gigs, literary readings and other cultural events. The University is in the top 30 universities in the UK and is a top five English mainstream university for the fifth consecutive year in the National Student Survey.

Norwich was recently cited as one of the 'coolest' student cities in the UK and offers a good mix of heritage with a lively night life and has been voted one of the top 10 shopping centres. The city is close to stunning coastline and the Broads National Park and is one of the safest cities in England according to crime statistics. It takes under two hours by train to London, and 45 minutes by air to Amsterdam, which offers flights all over the world.
